Individuals and Couples

• $145 per 50 minute session

No Insurance Info

• I  do not accept any form of insurance or EAP benefits (See reasons below).
• I do provide a limited number of reduced rate sliding scale sessions available based on proof of household income* ($95-$145).
• Please ask about this before scheduling to determine your rate.

*Household Income is defined as the gross sum of all of the combined incomes of those individuals contributing to the household expenses regardless of familial or marital status.

Payment

• Clients pay for each session at the time of service. Debit/Credit or HSA cards and Checks are accepted.

Cancellations and No-Shows 

• If unable to make your scheduled session, please contact me at least 24 hours in advance (by email, phone, or text).
• Missed sessions will be required to pay a Late Cancellation/No-Show Fee equal to the rate of your normal counseling session.
  

Why No Insurance?

• Simplicity: My clients pay for services via debit/credit or HSA card. It is easy! No deductibles, copays, delayed billing, or EOBs!

• Did you know?.....A well known insurance company right now is allowing $160+ for counselor fees? If you have a high deductible insurance plan, you're paying that full amount until you meet your deductible!

• Confidentiality: When a mental health diagnosis is given to your insurance company, the information is in your permanent medical record. My clients want to be 100% in charge of their medical information without having a  mental health disorder on their record.

• Did you know?.....For your counselor to bill insurance, you must be diagnosed with a mental health disorder. For couples counseling, "Relationship problems" is not a disorder insurance will accept so one partner will have to be diagnosed with a specific mental health disorder for insurance to pay.
